Philosophy

The Cady School of Music has a reputation built upon providing a learning environment in which our students succeed and excel. Our philosophy embodies the belief that students of any age are more able and willing to learn when paired with a teacher who promotes confidence, puts the student at ease, and makes the lesson as enjoyable as it is unforgettable.

Our students benefit from faculty members who are dedicated to their art, and who pride themselves on passing their own love of music on to their students. Our teachers come from a wide variety of backgrounds, lending their individual strengths to help create experiences that affirm that music is so much more than just reading notes on a page.

Courses

Our school offers a variety of classes for students of all skill levels, and we work with both children and adults. Private (one on one) instruction is available on almost every instrument, as well as voice. We also offer specialty classes, group instruction, and small ensemble opportunities. A detailed description of all course offerings is available on the Courses page.

Partnerships

The Cady School partners with The John Keal Music Company and Schenectady VanCurler Music to help students get the instruments and materials they need to succeed. Β We are able to meet all of the music and supply needs of our students, both at our studio and at the schools in which we provide on-site instruction.

We thank you for stopping by and look forward to helping you or your child become a music maker of tomorrow!
